Seeking information about Makawao Army Hospital in WW2

Early in 1942, the military took over the Makawao Elementary School on Maui, Hawaii, and turned it into a hospital called the Makawao Army Hospital. I have searched in a number of places, including the US National Archives website, but have been unable to find detail about this hospital. Specifically, I would like to know what kind of care it  provided – was it just routine for the many military members undergoing training on MauI, or did it take in casualties from battles later in the war? Also, how much staffing did it have, and what kind? Were there female nurses? Any detail would be welcome. Thank you.
