Seeking military decorations of Hershyl Hugh Ballard

    Gayla R. Corley Newbie

My brother, Hershyl Hugh Ballard was in the Army during World War II. He was a TSgt. was in England and then at least France during the war. He received some military decorations, but I have no idea what they were. His children does not have them. I would like to know what military decorations he received. He went into service in 1942 from Anderson County, Kansas. Is there any way to find out what those military decorations, medals, were?

            Gayla,

Here is some additional information. The patch in the image that you posted on findagrave.com is considered the 2nd Army, I'm trying to make out his unit crest on his garrison cap.
