Mark, I'm afraid I don't know exactly what you are referring to. I can't find any references to "Joint Security Organization" in our catalog or authority files. Are you referring perhaps to the "Joint Security Control" or some other organization that is a part of or affiliated with the Office of Naval Intelligence.

I made a mistake and left out Control from Joint Security Control
organization. It was under the JCS but had members from all the services to
coordinate and carry out strategic deception operations against both the
German and Japanese leadership and forces. They also worked very closely with
the British equivalent. Thanks for getting back to me. R, Mark

Okay. This one is going to be a bit complicated because we don't have any organization authority files for Joint Security Control and a search in our catalog does not turn up much. Mostly individual folders in the records of other organizations. It is entirely possible that there are additional records that reference them but are not yet described in such a way that they records would turn up in a key word search.
I will make some further inquires because I'm afraid I'm not immediately familiar with any good sets of records. In general you will probably want to look at JCS records (Record Group 218), G2 records (Record Group 165 Records of the War Department General and Special Staffs), ONI records (RG 38 Records of the Chief of Naval Operations) and possibly even OSS records (RG 226).
