Not sure what info you are looking for but here is the link for a Colt serial # look-up. If I am interpreting the results correctly, the serial # 755792 dates 1914 & from Springfield Armory.

Your M1911A1 pistol was manufactured in late 1941 according to The Springfield Research serial number book Volume 4. 1942 begins with serial number 757,000
I checked all four volumes I have and could find your serial number, the closest two were : 754625 issued in April 1943 to the SS E.J. Henry, and 755902 used in 1945 for a Remington test. There are a large number in the 750,000-759,000 range which are issued to various ships in the 1943-44 time frame. The only thing I can say is that the weapon was likely issued for military service during WWII given its 1941 date.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Dear Mr. Heinssen,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We are unable to locate any prepared lists showing the serial numbers of weapons purchased and issued by the United States Army. If such lists were prepared by the Office of the Chief of Ordnance, they were not transferred to the National Archives with the older records of that office.
We searched online and located the document Serial Number Ranges for Springfield Armory Manufactured Military Firearms posted by the National Park Service that may be of assistance. If you have any questions about this document please contact the Springfield Armory National Historic Site.
We hope this information is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
