The series Second Release of Name Files under the Nazi War Crimes and Japanese Imperial Government Disclosure Acts from Record Group 263 includes 40 references to Hitler and Roosevelt, 11 references to Hitler and champagne, and 39 references to Hitler and bunker as well. The reports provide information about Adolph Hitler, including last conversations officers' held with him and his bunker in Berlin. The series Interrogation Reports and Lists, 7/1945-12/1945 includes a report from a guard claiming to have been at the bunker of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler when Hitler died (April 30, 1945). There may be some account of Hitler receiving news of President Roosevelt’s death (April 12, 1945) among these records. The records have not been digitized.
