Seeking BRONZE STAR citation for Richard Palladino

    Trisha Palladino-Ludwig Newbie

My uncle, Richard Palladino, who served in the Korean War, passed. Among his belongings we found a Bronze Star. There was no accompanying paperwork. None of us were even aware our uncle received a Bronze Star. We would very much like to know what were the circumstances under which he received this medal. I have a copy of his DD-214 and the Bronze Star is not listed in the medals received section, which is strange. He was in D Co, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division. He served in Korea sometime between July 1952 and April 1954. He also had a Combat Medic Badge. Below is a picture of my uncle’s Bronze Star.

Any info or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Sincerely,

      Patricia Palladino-Ludwig
