Dear Iris Levandoski,
Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!
We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 3 items related to moving images from World War II showcasing Willys MB. 2 items are located in the Motion Picture Films from "United News" Newsreels, 1942 - 1945 series under Record Group 208: Records of the Office of War Information, 1926 - 1951. The items include LATEST NEWS FILMS FROM THE TUNISIAN BATTLE FRONT! [ETC.] and U.S. NAVY CARRIER PLANES SWEEP CHINA SEA [ETC.].
We also located the Moving Images Relating to Military Activities, 1947 - 1964 series in Record Group 111:Records of the Office of the Chief Signal Officer, 1860 - 1985. The item found is titled INVASION OF SOUTHERN FRANCE.
All of these files units mentioned have “Jeep” and “Willys MB” tags. They have been digitized and are available using the National Archives Catalog.
The Moving Images Relating to Military Activities, 1947-1964 series has great digitized moving image material from WWII and also has footage of Willys MBs with well-known content, like the Battle of Normandy. Many are not tagged with “Jeep” or "Willys MB", like the items listed above, but with some watching, Jeeps can be seen quite often. Many of these file units have also been digitized and are available using the National Archives Catalog.
