Searching for Census enumerator by name

    will galloway Newbie

I was browsing pages from the 1910 Census some time ago, around the area where my ancestors lived, just looking for context about the people who lived in that area. By complete luck, I found my GG-grandfathers signature on a batch of pages which he had filled out as an enumerator in that area. Is there any database or index which would allow a search by name for a person who served as an enumerator, if their name is on actual pages? Were/are enumerators allowed to enter their own family information if their home was included in their assigned area? If I search for him in 1910 I only get the entries with his family at their home.

      Thanks.
