Seeking whether surname of Rodill indicates heritage

    Diane Rodill Newbie

The 1849 Philippine Claveria Decree provided surnames for Filipinos with no Spanish blood. My family's Spanish surname, Rodill, predates the Decree. Does this indicate my father's family had Spanish blood?
