          Dear Mr. Miller,

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located 11 series & 311 file unts in the Records of the Work Projects Administration (Record Group 69) and 87 file units in the Records of the Civilian Conservation Corps (Record Group 35) that include records pertaining to Louisiana. For more information about these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) at archives2reference@nara.gov.

We also located 2 series & 11 file units in Record Group 69 that includes Louisiana as well as the series State File of Photographs of Civilian Conservation Corps Activities, 1933 - 1940 in Record Group 35 that includes a file unit titled Louisiana. For more information about these records, please contact the National Archives at College Park - Still Pictures (RDSS) at stillpix@nara.gov.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RDT2 and RDSS. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.

Often WPA and CCC records are held locally. We suggest that you contact the Louisiana State Archives and local historical societies in Lafayette, Louisiana for more information about their holdings.

We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
