Thank you for posting your question on History Hub.
The Federal government does not ordinarily create or maintain birth, death, marriage, divorce, adoption, or burial records. Such records are made and kept by state and local governments rather than the National Archives. For information on these records, please contact the Arkansas Vital Records office and the Illinois Vital Records office.
You may also wish to review the census records - Population Schedules for the 1860 Census, Population Schedules for the 1870 Census, Tenth Census of the United States, 1880, and Eleventh Census of the United States, 1890. Please contact the National Archives at DC for more information on how to access these census records. The census records are also available digitally through Ancestry.com, a paid subscription service. You can also check if your local library has a free subscription to that website.
We hope this information is helpful in your research.
