marylouburke205 Jan 21, 2016 2:38 PM (in response to stlreb)My uncle served in World War II. On Eldred's tomb stone besides his name,
birth and death info it said S SGT U S Army, Bronze Star (I have the info on
this award), and Society of Survivors of the Holocaust. My father, his
brother, said he had been with Patton's Third Army and liberated at least
one consideration camp. Eldred never talked about it with his family.

1 person found this helpfulHowdy again Mary:
I talked to a couple of Holocaust Survivors I know last night. They weren't familiar with any type of national organization, but they said there were (and are) many such local organizations around the country.
You might want to check with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum http://www.ushmm.org/
They might be able to assist you.
