    Adam Washburn Newbie

I am seeking information on the 1972 California judgement roll. Any information on this such as where I can find these rolls? I  have been told I am on it but I am looking for information on how I got on there?

          Dear Mr. Washburn,

Thank you for posting your request on History Hub!

We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the series Applications to the California Judgment Roll Authorized in 1968, 1968 - 1972 in the Records of the Bureau of Indian Affairs  (Record Group 75).  For access to the non-digitized records, please contact the National Archives at San Francisco (RW-SB) via email at sanbruno.archives@nara.gov

We also located the series Indexes to the 1972 California Indian Judgment Roll, 9/24/1972 - 7/2/1974 in Record Group 75.  Because this series is restricted, please contact the National Archives at Riverside (RW-RS) via email at riverside.archives@nara.gov to submit a request for your information.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff. As a result of this re-prioritization of activities, you may experience a delay in receiving an initial acknowledgement as well as a substantive response to your reference request from RW-SB and RW-RS. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and patience.

We hope this is helpful. Best of luck with your research!
