Re: I just want to use your public computers and look at microfilm, do I still need a researcher card?

Access to computers may vary across our locations.
In our Washington, DC location you can use one of two public access computers in our Innovation Hub by showing a photo ID, no researcher card is needed. All other public computers in Washington, DC and College Park, MD are in our research rooms and require a researcher card.
You need a researcher card to use microfilm our College Park, MD and Washington, DC locations.
If you plan on visiting any of our locations across the country, please contact the directly facility if you have specific questions about conducting research: National Archives Nationwide Network
