BiographyOriginally from Springfield, Missouri, I can't remember a time when I wasn't interested in history. I grew up right next to Wilson's Creek Battlefield and spent the majority of my life in museums. I received my BA in History from the University of Arkansas and received my MA in History from Emporia State University.
My first work experience with the National Archives came with an internship at the Eisenhower Presidential Library in Abilene, Kansas, which was a great place to work.
Currently, I am with the National Personnel Records Center in Valmeyer, IL. There are a lot of great people to work with here and everyone has been very open and friendly. I also got a taste of agency activities by volunteering for the Combined Federal Campaign; that was a lot of fun and all for good causes!
