Were the WWI sub chasers required to keep log books and if so where would I find them? I checked the post on Navy Log Books but did not see them listed. I am interested in the records for USS SC 273.
I am looking for the WWI Service records for Dr. Osman Coss who served from 2/1918 until Nov 1920 in the medical corps. Is there anyway to discover what unit Dr. Osman Coss served in without filing a personnel requests to NPRC? His US Veterans Bureau card does not provide this information. Thanks
