Did Gregory Demiduk or Pelageya Andrewa ever apply for passports circa 1914 to 1918. One or both of them took their four infant children back to Russia/Poland. In Kameny v. Brucker, where Frank Kameny sued the government for wrongful firing because of sexual orientation, why did the Supreme Court deny Kameny's appeal?  I have read the court sometimes declines to provide its reasoning but was any provided in this case?  Are any records available online?   Thanks for any assistance

According to the New York Times, 10 Mar 1946: X5.  The State Department in 1946 prepared a record of excepts from Porgy and Bess sung in German.  Emanuel List, the Vienna-born opera singer who had come to the US in 1933, sang as Porgy.
