Working on one of the files for Prayer of Columbus: https://crowd.loc.gov/campaigns/walt-whitman/poetry/mss1863000739/   Notice that page #3 is about Mystic Trumpeter: https://crowd.loc.gov/campaigns/walt-whitman/poetry/mss1863000739/mss1863000739-3/   Not sure if that is a misfile so thought I would mention it to whomever handles this type of… (Show more)

Working on one of the docs in the Walt Whitman campaign and found a reference to a work by Rudyard Kipling...title: "The Book of the Forty-Five Mornings." Having not heard of that title, I went searching for it online and could not find anything about it. Does anyone know anything about this title? It is referenced here:… (Show more)

If anyone here speaks or reads Romanian, feel free to check my work to fix any typos I might have made. Thank you.  … (Show more)

If I am reviewing a document and see that text was originally all uppercase (especially on printed letterhead), but has been transcribed as upper/lower, should I take time to correct that or leave it as is? For example, WASHINGTON on the original has been transcribed as Washington. I tried searching the… (Show more)

First of all, let me say "Bravo!" to the team that revised the transcription instructions.  I saw many things added that I'd hoped would be.  I have only a couple of comments.   I think the section on line-breaks could benefit from division into two paragraphs.  One on preserving line breaks, and another on what to do when you encounter words… (Show more)
