Just before the battle of Cape Esperance  in WWII, Admiral Scott ordered the column to turn.  The turn left USS Farenholt, USS Buchanan and USS Laffey in the rear of the column.  Was this a mistake or was this a proper way to make the turn? I have read it both ways.

I would like to know where to find isometric charts of decks used in central station on the USS Helena CL-50?

In a Light cruiser during WW2, what is the purpose of central station? What info was relayed during general quarters over the sound power phones?  What other compartments are connected to central station?
