Hello all. I recently found out that my lineage traces back through direct ancestors to the Huron, Lenape, and Cherokee tribes. I am trying to understand more but feel entirely lost. My mother’s father is my closest to connection aside from my mother. I am unaware of which tribe, however I do know my direct ancestors are on the dawes rolls under the last name Deems.
