Luiseno or not luiseno?

Hello, Forgive me if I sound dumb but I don&rsquo;t really know where to begin my search. My grandparents (from what I was told) are native Americans from Temecula, Ca. Everything has been so hush hush and no one wants to say anything and I&rsquo;m not sure why. I was told by an uncle that we are Luiseno but as far as what tribe, I do not know. My grandfathers name was Pedro Munoz and my grandmothers name was Carmen Navarro. Her mother&rsquo;s name was Rita Samaniego. That&rsquo;s all I know. I&rsquo;d like to find out what tribe if any we belong to and just know more about myself. Dont have much of a Mother to even get answers from so any help would be greatly appreciated.

 It does appear that someone has actually started pulling together some information on your family's history. Munoz, Sr. Note that FamilySearch is a free website, but that you may need to register an account there to fully use all features of the website.
