This is in response to your inquiry to the National Archives regarding your request for information related to the Muster Rolls for the USS Miami (CL-89) during the World War 2 era.

After searching our secondary sources we were unable to find an exact meaning for the acronym “WCCC”. It isn't far from plausible that “WC” stands for “West Coast" in this situation. It is also possible that the term “WCCC” could stand for “West Coast Construction Corps” or “West Coast Construction Command”.

Thank you for your email to the National Archives.
