Seeking to order photos from General Photographic Files, 1943-1968

Hello, I have found a grouping of photographs in the 80-G, as an example in the link below.  The page says the Specific Media Type is a negative. From here, how would I determine what 'roll' this particular negative is on?  Or for that matter, to find the rolls available in a given RG, in this case local identifier 80-G for the series - View of Battered Hill of Peleliu, on Palau Island ? Thanks

    The negatives in the series General Photographic Files, 1943 - 1968 (80-G) in the General Records of the Department of the Navy (Record Group 80) are sheet film. The negatives are not on rolls. The only number needed to locate the photographs is the number in the local identifier field. The local identifier for View of Battered Hill of Peleliu, on Palau Island is 80-G-309376.  For questions about images listed in the Catalog and requests for reproduction, please email National Archives at College Park - Still Pictures (RDSS) at StillPix@nara.gov with the local identifier number.

    In regards to record groups, please note that the identifier 80-G refers to a specific record series.  The page Record Group Concept explains what a record group is, and the difference between a record group and a record series. The record group General Records of the Department of the Navy (Record Group 80), includes 36 record series of photographs in the custody of RDSS, each with their own identifier such as  80-AA, 80-CF, etc. It also includes 6 record series of textual records in RDSS which serve as finding aids to the photographic record series. There are additional record groups with Navy and Marine photographs. See here for a list of Modern Navy (to include Marine Corps) record groups. Please note that this list is not current and omits some record groups related to recent Navy organizations, however it does include all of those that may have World War II era records. Please email RDSS at StillPix@nara.gov for assistance with locating photographs related to your research topics in the various record groups that contain photographs of Navy and Marine Corps activities during World War II.
