Seeking records of Marine Air Warning Squadron 8

I hope you are still seeing these answers!  My father, Ed Farmernot only served but organized reunions and wrote newsletters for MAWS-8 members until the mid 90's.  He also wrote a book, with much help from other members.   There is a Mike Meyers mentioned in the book.  The book was self published and hard to find.  A View from the Rear Rank.  Only a few hundred were published and sold to MAWS-8 team members.  I hope so much you see this and reply.  I am re-reading the book right now and it's so excellent--that's why I googled MAWS-8 and found this.  I would love to communicate with you or others about our fathers.
