Question

I am trying to assist a lady in Austria who is looking for information on the fate of her Austrian grandfather, Frederick/Fred/Alfred Hoenicke/Honek/Henoch, a soldier who went missing during WWII in Japan. Any guidance on records the National Archives may have or search avenues to give her would be most appreciated. There is a Frederick Hoenicke mentioned in the Peace Memorial Park in Okinawa and she is investigating that further to see if that may be her grandfather. Thank you!
