You did not specify the nature of her employment. If she was a federal civilian employee, we suggest that you request a copy of his/her Official Personnel File (OPF). OPFs and medical information for individuals who worked for the U.S. government in a civilian capacity before 1952 are in the custody of the National Archives at St. Louis (RRPO). Please email RRPO via email at stl.archives@nara.gov and  include the full name used during Federal employment, date of birth, Social Security Number (if applicable), name and location of the employing Federal agency, beginning and ending dates of Federal Service. For more information, please check the Official Personnel Folders (OPF), Archival Holdings and Access website.

Archival OPFs may also be requested by visiting the Archival Research Room at the National Archives at St. Louis. Please see the linked web pages for more information.  Please email stlarr.archives@nara.gov for further assistance prior to making an appointment.

If she was a civilian contractor or vendor, the federal government would not have he personnel files.  Most private corporations do not retained employment records for extended periods of time.

We hope this is helpful with your research!
