How did Devol H Cassidy 20930678 Sgt KIA die?  He fought in the Pacific in WW2.   I was tolkd he was killed by a sniper on Tarawa but am not sure if this is true and would like to know more.

These records include the service member's rank, serial number, date of birth, and a brief description of the circumstances surrounding the death.
