Pvt. Paul G Absher 315 Infantry Regiment

Looking for more details on my great grandfather Pvt. Paul G Absher. He was killed in action on August 23 1944. He was with the 315th infantry regiment. I believe he was killed during the Liberation of Vexin in France. Was just looking for more information on him.

Parents
  • I  am familiar with this Paul Absher.   He is displayed with my relatives that were in the armed forces.  I have photos of him in uniform with a buddy,   My mother received his personal items when he was brought home to Alabama for reinterment.   Visited his father, Issac Absher,  when I was very young late 60s.   He was a Army muleskinner   and had the tack displayed in his home.    Who was Paul married to?    Neal
