need to find Medical Records

I added a reply before this reply, but it seemed to not go through...  Not sure that your situation is as similar as mine but, the NARA would not reply to my requests for my Dad's C.G. records from WW II.   This was more than a year and a half of the NARA sending me in to all kinds of WRONG directions, and never providing me with the file.  I finally wrote to the Admiral and then I did receive quite a bit of information.  However, I cannot say that I for sure, received ALL of my dad's military records.  I have to wonder if the O.S.S. thing prevents them from correctly responding with complete files.  I don't know if my dad was O.S.S., but I know that the O.S.S. had invited him to be in their "club."  He did not join, was his claim long ago.  You might try writing to the Admiral, faxing if possible is better...fax is a legal document.  Certifying letters costs mores...
