I am seeking records about Capt. Gino PONZI who was later reported killed by ROCCA in Ventimiglia. (JRX-595, 635-A).

The document may be viewed here .&#160; Information concerning CREST is provided on the CIA web site at https://www.foia.cia.gov/collection/crest-25-year-program-archive . &#160; Based on the information provided in the report, we would search available &ldquo;Personal Names&#8221; and &ldquo;Code Names&#8221; finding aids to records located in Record Group 226 (Records of the Office of Strategic Services) and try to identify material relating to Captain Gino Ponzi and Mission Eros-Gino.&#160; Unfortunately, the finding aids are in hard copy only and are available to view onsite in the Textual Research Room at the National Archives in College Park, MD. &#160; Please note, however that due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pursuant to guidance received from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), NARA has adjusted its normal operations to balance the need of completing its mission-critical work while also adhering to the recommended social distancing for the safety of NARA staff.
