Distinguished Flying Cross awarded during WWII

My father James J Delvin was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.  His discharge papers indicate the award was issued per GO 67 Hq 12 AF.  I was hoping to obtain a copy of the order.  He never discussed the circumstances of the award and I was hoping to learn more.

    Many of the historical and operational records of the Distinguished Flying Cross Award have been microfilmed by the Air Force Historical Research Agency (AFHRA). The National Archives at College Park - Textual Reference (RDT2) has a copy of the microfilm.     Also, unit histories and supporting documents of Army Air Force and Air Force units are in the custody of the Air Force Historical Research Agency, 600 Chennault Circle, Building 1405, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL 36112-6424.  These files often include historical reports.  Please call (334) 953-5697 or write to that office for further information concerning these records.
