What is the most combat jumps made by any individual or individuals during WWII?
Hello,
I would suggest that four combat jumps was likely the most; about 3,000 82nd ABN DIV paratroopers made that number. In the Pacific, elements of the 503rd PIR made a number of jumps, including in New Guinea and the Philippines.
i guess, theoretically, there might be someone(s) out there that did more, but they would have had to have done some major transferring/travels, e.g. after having four combat jumps with the 82nd, then jumping into Germany with the 17th ABN DIV in March 1945.
