Italian POW during WW2

Question

My father was an Italian POW during WW2 , and was captured by the English in North Africa. He was transferred to South Africa at Zonderwater. His name was Giuseppe Vescio. He never spoken about his time at Zonderwater. I would like to find out more but do not know where to start.
