WWII Draft/Enlisted Records by County

Question

I am searching for a way to find out how many served whether drafted or volunteered from my home county during WWII. Is there a database out there with this information broken down by state then with the ability to filter by county? Any help would be appreciated!

 Initially, please note that the Access to Archival Databases (AAD) website is a great tool for this kind of work but as noted, will not cover everything. T he Textual Reference Archives II Branch (RR2RR) has custody of the Record Group 147 Records of the Selective Service System which includes the series entry Alphabetical Name Files of Registrants Residing in a Foreign Country, February 1944&ndash;March 31, 1947 (P 6-B) as well as series Index to Registrants Residing in a Foreign Country, January 1, 1944&ndash;March 31, 1947 (P 6-C). Please note that these series relate to United States male citizens residing outside the country who filed registration forms with the Selective Service at a U.S. embassy, consulate, or legation.
