Danish sailors serving Allied forces during WW2 ?

I am looking for records of Danish seamen enrolling in Allied naval forces during World War 2, whether it be in United States navy or another of the Allied nations.

    Danish sailors who enlisted to serve with the U.S. American naval forces served aboard American Merchant Marine ships. If known, you may be able to research the activities of individual ships. However, this may only provide limited information regarding individual sailors. Additionally, you may be able to locate correspondence or policy records relating to the enlistment of Danish sailors. Unfortunately, this will require time consuming and in depth onsite research at the National Archives located College Park, Maryland.
