The National Archives does not have any collections of photographs of soldiers nor does the National Archives have any collections of regimental or company photographs.
We searched Civil War Soldiers & Sailors Index via the National Park Service and we identified Compiled Military Service Records pertaining to Private John Selph, Company C, 61st GA Infantry.
We were also able to identify Compiled Military Service Records pertaining to Private John W. Selph, Company C, 61st GA Infantry.
The National Archives holds Compiled Military Service Records for Confederate soldiers. Copies may be ordered via our website at eservices.archives.gov. You would fill out and submit online two separate NATF-86 Forms for each of the CMSRs indicated above.
For Private John Selph, there is a Jacket and 21 Cards for a total of 22 records.
For Private John W. Selph, there is a Jacket and 17 Cards for a total of 18 records.
