I am looking for rosters, operations reports, photos about Navigators of 343rd Bombardment Squadron in WWII. How can I find them?

Unit histories and supporting documents of Army Air Force and Air Force units are in the custody of the Air Force Historical Research Agency, 600 Chennault Circle, Building 1405, Maxwell Air Force Base, AL 36112-6424.  These files often include historical reports.  You should call (334) 953-2395 or write to that office for further information concerning these records. Army Air Forces combat mission reports (entry NM-6 7-A, Record Group 18) for the World War II period are among the textual records in the custody of the National Archives.  This series consists of the original mission reports pertaining to specific targets.  These reports were filed by the units and sometimes include encounter reports by pilots, aerial photographs, and loading lists.  The reports are arranged by units, and identification of the group or squadron and a date of interest are necessary before a search can be conducted.  Boxes 3562-3565 contain mission reports for the 343rd Bombardment Squadron.

Copies of most of the monthly rosters from 1912-43 and 1947-59 for Army units (including Army Air Corps) are in the custody of the National Archives in St. Louis, MO.
