I am looking for a death certificate or pictures of my great great grandfather. He was enlisted in the confederate army in Selma, AL. Lewis Batallion Calvary with an enlist date of Jan 15th 1863. I was able to find payments where he was hauling nitrate to Montevallo during the war October 24, 1863 and was paid $138.00.
