Manny here. I hope you’re doing well.  Not sure if you received my last message. SFC Means was our Platoon Sargent. I came upon this post, because my google search went awry.

I was mostly in El Salvador and once near the Nicaraguan border, though I did stay at Blackjack a few times

Manny!! OMG I didn't think anyone would reply. Yes if you remember I didn't get to stay in El Sal except as part of the "the lunch bunch", but I do remember you. If you do get back on this page and respond to this, we will need to get in contact with each other.

I too was at Camp Blackjack PALMEROLA AIR FIELD at that time. I was assigned to C Company 1st Aviation Battalion in the Supply Section from 83-86; we deployed to Honduras 84-85, then again in 86.
