service record of a privately owned patrol boat during WWII

I am trying to establish the wartime service record of a 50 for private's motor yacht which served as a patrol craft at or near Providence RI. Her name was Mar-Joy. She was built by Elco in 1928-29. #228439. Thanks, Jerry
