1964th Service Control Unit in 1944-45

I am searching for the location of the US Army 1964th Service Control Unit in 1944-45.  I believe it was in France, but I don't know where.

    The Textual Reference Archives II Branch (RR2RR) has custody of the series World War II Operations Reports (entry NM-3 427) within the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1917- (Record Group 407). Military unit files among these records consist mostly of historical reports, after action reports, unit journals, and general orders. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate any records in this series relating to the 1964th Service Control Unit. 
    Since you are interested in the location of the unit, we suggest consulting the series Station Lists, 1942–1953 (entry NM-3 377-A) within Record Group 407.  This series is arranged alphabetically by geographical location, thereunder chronologically.  We will be happy to make the records and their finding aids available to you or your representative in the Textual Research Room (Room 2000) here at the National Archives at College Park, Maryland. Please visit our website for information about visiting the National Archives in College Park, MD, including how to schedule a research visit.
    Morning Reports may also assist with your research.  Morning reports for Army units (from November 1, 1912 to 1959) and Air Force units (from September 1947 to June 30, 1966) are in the custody of the National Archives in St. Louis, MO. Please contact them for access to these records. The address is the National Archives in St. Louis, 1 Archives Drive, St. Louis, MO  63138-1002 and the email address is stl.archives@nara.gov.
    We also recommend that you contact the Center of Military History for information on the 1964th Service Control Unit during World War II.  For inquiries on organizational history, lineage and honors, official Army histories, staff rides, military programs, please e-mail CMH Answers at usarmy.mcnair.cmh.mbx.answers@army.mil.
