My dad, Virgil H. Kuehl, served in WW2 in B Company of the 180th Regiment, 45th Infantry Division. His number is 37 553 362. I got what records I could out of St. Louis and since his were part of the ones destroyed by fire there wasn't much. I do have his discharge that has quite a bit of information. What I'm seeking are any ship logs (he departed the US on 8/21/43 and arrived 9/2/43 for EAME campaign) there might be or any other active-duty rosters there might be. He is listed as having participated in the EAME, Naples-Foggia, Rome-Arno, Southern France, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. His last rank was Messenger (745) and departed Europe on 5/1845 and arrived back in the US on 6/2/45 with a discharged date of 10/8/45. Thanks to anyone that can help. Brian
