Seeking Roster for Co A 115th Inf 29th division

Also - Morning reports through 1943 have now been digitized and posted by NARA. Searching them is still a bit wonky, I'd suggest using his ASN.  A quick test by me found a couple mentions of him in 1943 in A Co 115th.

There's a couple good clues in there - It shows him on a roster at Camp Shanks in July 43, presumably as replacement enroute to Europe  - https://catalog.archives.gov/id/431980705?objectPage=935

There's probably a few more that the Text recognition isn't picking up.     

The Camp Shanks entry shows him arriving in a group of "fillers" or replacements on 19 July from the Shenango Personnel Replacement Depot, PA (Later known as Camp Reynolds) and then departing to the "NYPE" (New York Port of Embarkation) on 24 July 43, presumably to board a troopship. 

Note - Direct access to these Morning reports is going to solve a lot of family mysteries on where ancestors served in the Army and when - being able to track their movements from place to place by date is mind blowing!

You are correct, the 10th Replacement Depot’s main location was at Whittington Barracks in Lichfield, England with a sub-post at Pheasey Estate. Unfortunately, for at least part of the war, the 10th RD had quite the nasty reputation:

I did end up finding that as well. What's interesting is that the archives doesn't have the Co A September morning report. I was able to find the slide that shows the overall for the 115th but Co A was not part of it -https://catalog.archives.gov/id/451877168?objectPage=408 . Also, I can't seem to find August 1943 & April 1944.

It's too bad they don't have anything else past April 1944.
