Hello Defendress, can you please help me find my grandfathers WW2 awards? He was with the USAAF 463 Bombardment Group, 775 Squadron. His name is William Everett Neely. They say he was involved with the raids on Ploesti Romania. Any info you can find would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you for any help!

Actually, disregard my question, as i confirmed what your grandfather's service number was, and just went to also look up to see if he was from Penn, and he was.....his service number/id is the same upon the DFC award card. I will post the card for you right now...!

Dneely... I found your grandfather's AM card..! It was really bothering me that I could not find his AM card, esp since you confirmed that he did receive one, and most of the time (most), they were given in tandem. So this morning, I went to go look back at the registry, and went to go and see about alternate spellings for his last name of any of the letters, and found his card under "William E Neeley" with an extra E in between the L and the Y, in lieu of the familty spelling with L and Y only.
