If you're asking about the 2nd Engineer Combat Battalion, they were part of the 2nd Infantry Division.
There are a couple of division histories available for download here (put your speakers on mute first):

You can also try searching the US Holocaust Museum website, as well:
They have info on units that liberated the camps, first person accounts, photographs, etc.

Thanks. Looking for information specific to the 3rd Army Engineers.
So are you talking the 3rd Engineer Combat Battalion, or engineer combat battalions assigned to Patton's Third Army, and specifically, their S-2 reports?
Specifically, I am looking to understand the actions of the 1109th to write the biography of one of their members who was an S-2. I know he was an S-2 with the 1109th from 43-45. I am in the early stages of being fire-hosed with information as I embark on this research. Appreciate any and all help in understanding an navigating this.
