91st Evacuation Hospital under Lt Col Fred G Lahourcade was developed at Fort Knox KY and sent in 1942 to Casablanca Morocco with 6th Surgical Hospital, followed troops through Algiers and Tunisia then to Sicily; sent to Utah Beach France with Patton's 3rd Army across France then 1st Army into Holland and was first hospital unit to cross the Rhine, moving toward Berlin when war ended - from Wikipedia
