Where to find digitized World War II aerial photographs?

The Cartographic Branch currently has over 90,000 US flown aerial photographs and over 23,000 German flown aerial photographs from World War II available for viewing and download in the NARA Catalog. The National Archives has a continuing partnership with the National Collection of Aerial Photography (NCAP) in Scotland who are scanning World War II aerial photographs for upload to their website and our online Catalog. Thousands of photographs are added to the NARA Catalog each quarter. If you have any further questions, the Cartographic Branch can be reached at carto@nara.gov.

Additional photographs can be found in the Still Picture Branch. The series descriptions for these photographs can be found on the Aerial Photography Web Page. The Still Picture Branch can be reached stillpix@nara.gov.
