US Army "Wildcats" in WW2 in Pacific.

Question

Looking for information about my uncle Arvel Webb and his WW2 unit the "Wildcats" which wore a shoulder patch of a wildcat. The unit fought in Pacific islands about 1944-1945.

 The &ldquo;Wildcats,&rdquo; was a nickname for the U.S. Army&rsquo;s 81st Infantry Division in the Pacific. 
 We searched the National Archives Catalog and located the World War II Operations Reports, 1940-1948 in the Records of the Adjutant General's Office, 1917 - 1985 (Record Group 407) that includes records of the 81st Infantry Division [boxes 10333-10394] during WWII.
