Were the majority of the U.S. Army Infantry Battalion and Brigade Commanders in Vietnam between 1965-1968 WWII or Korean War Veterans?

For example, we located the series Records About the Ground Combat Operations by the Army During the Vietnam War, May 20, 1966–March 12, 1973 in the Records of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff (Record Group 218) that includes some statistical information that may be useful for your research. Some records may be digitized and available online using the Catalog.
