Specific WW II Gun Camera Film

I need American fighter gun camera film taken over the country of Romania (probably listed as "Rumania" in whatever indexing is available) during 1944.  The Tuskegee Airmen, among others, flew fighter sweeps and bomber protection there during this period, although my search is not limited to the 332nd FG,.

I've been told the government destroyed almost all the gun camera film back in the late '50s so this search may end up fruitless, but I need to try.

The NARA website search function doesn't return any useful results except the obvious RG 342.  Any advice on how/where to narrow down the ARC/NA identifier (or whatever other number is needed to access the reels)?  Do the actual film stock images include info like the pilot's name, location, date, etc.?

      Thanks much.
